Started sailing from 3rd grade and had sailed at Odo Yacht Harbor in Fukuoka until senior year in university. Moved the base to Wakayama after getting a job with Hiyoshi Sengyo Co., Ltd. (Siesta Sailing Team) and started J24 and match race campaign. In 2004, won the 1st place in All-Japan championship and, as a result, was able to participate in Nippon cup for the first time.
From 2005, try some Match race regatta in Europe, Bermuda and New Zealand with Japanese crew.
